Christine M. Fleming
Christine Fleming is a principal and leads Milliman’s Casualty Claims & Underwriting Practice.
Experience
Prior to joining Milliman in 1996, Christine practiced law at a national insurance coverage defense firm where she specialized in complex litigation claims handling. She came to Milliman with a strong background in property-casualty insurance claims.
Since joining Milliman, Christine’s area of expertise has been on liability claims operational assessments, including case reserving and implementing best claims-handling practices. She helps clients identify and improve claims-level operational deficiencies. She has also helped clients reorganize and manage claims departments by minimizing inefficiencies and creating more optimized processes and cost-saving measures.
Christine has extensive experience in complex litigation (e.g., asbestos, pollution, black lung) and commercial auto and trucking claims management. Her clients include large self-insureds, insurers, reinsurers, governmental agencies and municipalities, captives, and risk retention groups.
